Here at UYT we're always looking to add dependable and energetic tennis enthusiasts to our team of coaches and assistant coaches in running our different tennis programs. Or if you're interested in just helping out occasionally as a volunteer please indicate that as well.

  • Run practices and matches (or assist) for one of our middle/elementary school club tennis team in (we have programs throughout the year from March - November).
    • 1.5 hour practices twice per week, 1 match per week, after school.​
    • Around 5-6 hours per week per team
    • Can coach up to 2 teams (1 Middle, 1 Elementary)
  • Teach the basics of tennis technique and match play.
  • Rank players according to ability and develop the team roster for matches.
  • Communicate with parents and players, giving updates and announcements on schedules, progress, etc.
  • Ensure a fun and safe environment for all the kids.
  • At least a varsity level tennis playing ability
  • Previous coaching experience not necessary but a plus
  • Ability to get to and from practices and matches
  • Available to attend all practices and matches 
  • Available during the after school hours
  • Able to work well with middle school kids
  • Fun and energetic personality a definite plus!
